We have just returned from our second stay in this lovely villa, situated between the town of Pissouri and Pissouri Bay. The views are stunning, the Villa perfect for our family of 8. Sarah and Keith were the perfect people to deal with, always helpful and quick to respond to correspondence. The Villa has everything to make a stay both relaxing and like home from home.

Stayed at Windy Ridge with family whilst visiting Pissouri for a week to attend a family wedding. What a wonderful find! The villa itself is beautiful with well proportioned and decorated rooms and comfortable beds. It was equipped with everything you could need and felt very homely. The pool / outdoor area was amazing with panoramic views, comfortable loungers and a lovely breeze. The local agents were super helpful as were the owners, coming back promptly and positively on every question or request. Highly recommend!!!

We just came back from a wonderful holiday at Windy Ridge. The villa is situated in a fantastic location, close to a quaint but beautiful village square, which offers plenty of restaurants and few bars. It takes a 5 min drive to get to a lovely and quiet beach, which offers sun lounges (EUR4.00 for the whole day but remember to take your own beach towels) and a nice restaurant for a spot of lunch or a cold drink. It’s a pebble stone beach but the seabed is sandy and the water is glorious. The villa offers amazing views of the mountains and the sea and we spent many evenings stargazing outside. The pool was fantastic situated on the huge terrace where multitude of green plants and flowers added to already stunning place. There are plenty of sun lounges to use plus a shaded gazebo if you wish to get a relief from the sun. Villa is very spacious, clean and beautifully furnished (high quality equipment is a bonus). Very strong water pressure which is always a big plus from us. Keith and Sarah thought of everything when equipping Windy Ridge, from games, kitchen equipment, BBQ, music selection to welcoming their guests with a bottle of wine, bread, milk, tea and many more items that provided much of a comfort upon arrival. Satisfied with a cuppa and toast and/or cookies you can do your food shopping in a nearby shop (5 min drive) which was very well stocked. The perfect location also allows you visit many wonderful places Cyprus got to offer. We can definitely recommend a trip to Archeological site in Kourion and a stroll plus ice cream in Limassol afterwards. We have also spent a day driving around Troodos mountains visiting local monasteries with a must stop at a gorgeous village Omodos. There you can buy done wonderful gifts and grab lunch in one of many eateries. Don’t forget about wine tasting, we loved a vineyard called Linos as it not only offered free tasting but also because of a great atmosphere, amazing owner who makes this visit unforgettable and beautiful views. Don’t be fooled by the front of the place which looks like a house as behind it, it’s magical. We have also ventured to Latsi from where we booked a boat trip to Blue Lagoon. It was lovely but if in a small group and feeling comfortable, we would recommend hiring a boat privately. The list of things to do and see is endless and all not too far away from the villa. Don’t forget to go to Aphrodite’s Rock but make sure you visit early in the morning for tranquil swim (beautiful water but stone bed which we didn’t mind) and amazing photo opportunity. On a last day we stopped in Kouklia for breakfast at the place called Meeting place, breakfast was delicious. Whilst there it’s worth visiting Aphrodite’s Sanctuary (3 mins walk from the restaurant) and strolling around the village. We regret we haven’t had more time to see more of it. We will definitely visit again and will make sure we stay at the Windy Ridge as words cannot describe how much we loved that place.

" ***** Unforgettable Stay

Having read great reviews of this villa we booked it and were certainly not disappointed. With fantastic vista's of both the Troodos mountain range and the Mediterranean Sea we were blown away (Star gazing at night and the Milky Way is also a huge plus). The pool was well maintained and a good size and depth. Plenty of space and sun loungers to enjoy the sun on the patio and a breeze in the evening to cool down with. Inside, the Villa was very clean and tidy and well stocked with all the mod cons you need for either a couple or family. The location is perfect as well. 5 min drive down to the Blue Flag beach at Pissouri Bay or 10 min walk to the village uphill. 30 mins to Paphos or Limassol in either direction and about 45 minutes to the mountains and wine country. A perfect little gem for our first time to Cyprus and it made our (sadly) short trip a holiday to remember.

We have stayed at Windy Ridge on a number of occasions, and what’s not to love - we always have a fabulous time! A great location, a fantastic villa - with a wonderful and welcome breeze in the middle of the afternoon to make it just perfect! The village has numerous beautiful restaurants – we particularly liked Two friends Tavern. We would definitely recommend this Villa and hope to visit Pissouri again sometime.

This villa is superb. The views alone are worth the trip. Pissouri itself is very quaint and the restaurants are well worth a visit. There is a large supermarket within 5 minutes' drive which is handy, and the beach is at the bottom of the hill. The pool is child friendly with a 1m shallow end and 2m at the deep end, which is great for older kids. Honestly, I only have good things to say about this villa and it's location."

We had a lovely stay at Windy Ridge. The villa is situated within easy walking distance of a lovely village with lots of meal options and is just a short drive from Pissouri bay for the sea. The villa is very spacious, with a large comfortable outdoor area and pool. The property was very well equipped with everything we needed. The villa, gardens and pool were tended regularly, but unobtrusively, during our stay. Communication was very easy, with very clear arrival and departure instructions and very quick responses during booking. This was our second visit to Windy Ridge as a group of friends, and once again we had an absolutely amazing time! The villa is in a perfect location, walkable distance to Pissouri Square and a short drive to Pissouri Bay. The villa itself is wonderful, well provisioned, well equipped and has a great outside space with swimming pool which is really well maintained and provides a shaded area to retreat from the sun for a little while. We arrived to a great welcome pack to get us going, including a very welcome bottle of wine! The view across the valley is breathtaking and it’s easy to see where the villa’s name came from. To top it off Keith and Sarah are an absolute pleasure to deal with, nothing is too much trouble - thank you. It’s so good we have already booked again for next year and are very much looking forward to it!

We stayed for 3 weeks in this amazing villa. It is beautifully done out inside, very clean & spacious & with everything you could possibly need & more ! There is a very large outdoor area with a lovely pool & lots of places to sit around & eat, relax and sunbathe. The views around the villa & from the balconies are absolutely stunning. The location was perfect for us, in a quiet area but also close to Pissouri village which has plenty bars & restaurants, also a supermarket and Pissouri amphitheatre which has various events & concerts. Sarah & Keith are very helpful with lots of information on the area & places to visit. Definitely would like to go back there again."

The bedrooms are bigger than they look on the photos and the beds comfortable. Keith and Sarah (the Hosts) were quick with communications and we would happily visit again!.

Just back from a two week stay at Windyridge, this was our fourth time here and still as wonderful as ever, didn’t want to come home. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the holiday the villa is extremely well equipped, the owners have thought of everything. There are spectacular views towards the mountains and the sea from the large terraced area around the pool with plenty of shade from large ‘sail’ shades and there is always a welcoming breeze. We walked into the village most nights where there are restaurants and bars. We highly recommend The Bunch of Grapes and Michaels Steak restaurant, ate at The Bunch of Grapes three times and we were never disappointed. The beach is a short drive away with plenty of sun beds and water sports. We also drove to Melanda beach which is a bit quieter and has a lovely fish restaurant. We can’t recommed this villa enough, we will definitely be back again.

" ***** Peaceful with amazing views

What a lovely villa! When we got there the shutters on all of the windows were closed so it initially felt dark and a little dingy. However once they were open you could see how amazing the villa was. It’s a real home from home catering for your every need. Kitchen equipment was great and all the appliances were of high quality. Loved the induction hob! It was great to have pots and pans that were actually very clean and non stick in holiday accommodation. If you go here have a really good look in the kitchen cupboards ! I spent ages chopping garlic, onion and fresh herbs to make koftas and then found a hand blender / processed... The air conditioning throughout worked really well which was especially welcome in the bedrooms at night. The beds were all really comfortable and good pressure in the showers. We went with teenagers, and a grandparent so it was good to have a separate bedroom downstairs with a toilet next to it. We didn’t read the information folder for a few days and that’s when we found where the safe was! The outside was so spacious and windy ridge is the perfect name. You got sun all day if you wanted it with a lovely breeze but there is also plenty of shade. We loved both of the seating / table areas outside. What made this villa exceptional was the views. Just incredible and it felt really peaceful / relaxing every time you were in the outside space. We have been to Pissouri before and this is the first time we were actually walking distance from the square. As mentioned in other reviews - it is a steep walk there, with a slight short cut up some steps but walking back was fine......."

Windy Ridge is a spacious well appointed villa with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The villa has amazing views across the valley and to the sea beyond. The afternoon breeze is much needed during the summer months and the large pool is a fabulous place to cool off. There are many great restaurants in Pissouri which is only a short walk away. The owners (Sarah & Keith) are very fast at responding to any queries and are a fabulous source of information with recommendations of things to see and places to go. A week is not enough time, we can’t wait to return.

Windy Ridge was lovely. Beautiful spot looking down from the hill, to the valley and beyond to the sea. Home was very comfortable - large, nicely decorated rooms, well equiped kitchen, if you prefer eating in rather than running up to the Village for dinner. The village, though, has many great options - our favorite, Two Friends on the corner- very authentic Cypriot cooking and very gracious service. We also took a quick drive down to the beach for lunch on Pissouri Bay. Very close to Paphos, Kourion and Limassol for sight seeing and exploring. Easy trip into the mountains as well. Cooled off at the pool every afternoon. Only miss - slow wi fi. Would have been great if we could have kept up with email and news from home a bit better. Looking forward to going back!"

" ***** A wonderful, relaxing time.

We have just returned from 3 blissful weeks staying at Windy Ridge. The house was as good as other reviewers have suggested and was perfect for the 4 of us to all find space to do our own thing. The view is really incredible and changes as the sun moves throughout the day. A G&T on the balcony watching the last rays of the sun quickly became a wonderful habit ! Pissouri is a quiet place, which was exactly what we wanted.The pace of life there seems to have remained unchanged for hundreds of years and we easily found ourselves whiling away the hours doing very little in prefect contentment. After 3 weeks there, I could almost pass as a local ! There are lots of things to see and do however, to pull you away from the lovely poolside. The ancient ruins in Paphos and Kourion were amazing and we really loved our trip up to the Troodos Mountains and the wine region. We also enjoyed sailing the Hobie Cats from the beach by the Columbia Hotel. We ate out most evenings and it was good to have the variety of the village square or the beach. The restaurants are all pretty good and we didn't have any real disasters...apart from "Perry's" perhaps...When you fancy a break from the local food however (and we did), there is also a very good Indian restaurant down by the beach. We sat outside and had a couple of great evenings there. Keith was really helpful both before and during our stay, answering any questions we had quickly. The House is also very well maintained with cleaners, pool maintenance and gardeners all popping in on a regal basis. Bob & Norma next door were also lovely and a very useful source for local information. All in all, a great family holiday and we are already planning to return next year!"

Arrived to a lovely clean villa with an amazing view over the valley and sea. Very quiet area, but easy and close drive to the local village 2 minutes up the road and the beach just a little further down. The bedrooms are a good size and lovely and cool and there is a wonderful breeze to the property. The kitchen is very well equipped, with comfortable furniture throughout. The landlords are very attentive and we will definitely return again. we had a wonderful holiday, thank you x”

We had a fantastic stay at Windy Ridge. It is a beautiful property with an outstanding view. The owners have thoughtfully equipped the villa with everything needed for a comfortable and stress free stay. The accommodation is beautifully proportioned with an excellent ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. It gave us flexibility and comfort as we were staying with a large family group. The pool area is attractive and the sails provide welcome shade. We found the property tricky to find (tiredness and driving in the dark didn't help) but the road signs may have been changed since the directions were written. We couldn't find a sign for Pissouri Jetty for example. Pissouri Bay, however, we did find. Navigating through the village was particularly challenging with all three cars getting lost! Overall, we were extremely happy with the villa and the location and would certainly visit again. Sarah and Keith have been extraordinarily helpful during the planning of our trip and the follow up. Going to great lengths to return a top that we left behind. So very kind of them. Thank you very much!”

From the moment we contacted Sarah we had absolute confidence that Windy Ridge was the villa for us! Her communication style was such that it made booking the holiday a pleasure. This was our first visit to Cyprus. 4 adults and 2 children (aged 3 and 8) - all of us have said we will absolutely visit again! Cyprus is a beautiful country & Pissouri really is a lovely little village. The weather was extremely hot but the name Windy Ridge is definitely fitting! A welcome breeze is present from about 12 noon each day. The villa is absolutely stunning & exceeded our high expectations. Although large in size and categorised as a luxury villa it really is like a home from home. It is in excellent condition throughout - very clean and clearly a well loved property. Everything has been thought of from games, to children's toys, from towels to a lovely welcome hamper on arrival. The guide in the villa is also very useful. We would highly recommend the Two friends Tavern in the village, plus a meal at The Last castle (with stunning views). We also had a day trip to Fissouri water park...another recommendation if you have children or even for adults to release their inner child!! If you are considering Windy Ridge I'd recommend you book up quick...you will not be disappointed.

From the very start of booking our holiday at 'Windy-Ridge' everything has been very good, Sarah and Keith answered any questions that i have had. The property must score 10/10 It met all our needs, we are aged between 66yrs and a 1yr old We loved the position of the Villa with the amazing views all around and we walked to the village lots of times where we found the restaurants all excellent, and the Supermarket well stocked. Most of all we loved the private pool where we spent most of our time.”

I have got to say the hospitality at this Villa was 110% everything u need is already there... The owners said all you need is your own beach towels and that was no lie. Great location next to Limassol and Paphos both within half hr drive away.. Pissouri village is a lovely location and a great new fish and chips shop too.. The beach is not far at all and I didn't feel like I would even have to leave the villa. There was 8 of us including couple kids and I would defo love to visit here again”
