This charming restaurant is owned and run by two friends who happen to have the same name - Panicos. Both will make you feel extremely welcome.
The restaurant has beautiful panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and Pissouri coastline. The Two Friends' speciality is excellent Cypriot food with a fall-off-the-bone, melt-in-the-mouth kleftiko and chicken kebab. The main course is served with fresh, well-prepared vegetables. The house hummus is fantastic!
The Two Friends is very popular and you may need to book a table in advance. Tel : +357 25222527
The Saffron restaurant offers contemporary and traditional Indian dishes with a fusion of aromatic spices. The food is excellent with some English favourites such as Chicken Masala, but my favourite is Murg Mukhini (butter chicken) served with rice and a peshwari naan. Mouth wateringly good!
For lunchtime snacks and Premier League football there is no better place. Located a short walk from the beach you can enjoy a light meal at reasonable prices or watch the football over a couple of beers. I (and many others on Tripadvisor) recommend the Pissouri Bay Cafe burger which is excellent.
The O Vraka located in Pissouri Square has a bistro feel about it, offering local dishes with daily specialites and also on Sunday a traditional English roast at lunchtime. There is a very nice outside dining area with a relaxing water feature. Haris the owner offers a unique dining experience with great food and live entertainment. Watch out for Haris aubergine dish which is served with most main courses. It is simply the best aubergine recipe I have tasted.
This restaurant is just outside PIssouri at Melanda beach. The restaurant has a rustic look and feel but the setting is idyllic overlooking a shallow sheltered beach with views to Avdimou beach and Limassol. It is a short drive away but well worth a visit and the speciality is fresh fish cooked over coals.
The Hill View can be seen from anywhere in Pissouri. The restaurant is located at the top of the village marked by a red neon sign "Restaurant". The Hill View offers a dining experience with great views over the village. The food here is excellent with the emphasis on traditional Greek dishes. On Sunday lunchtime the Hill View serves traditional English roast which is highly recommended and will require you to book in advance. Tel : +357 25221972
The Hideaway restaurant is in a pretty setting, tucked away just off the village square. The waft of food cooking over charcoal will tempt your tastebuds and draw you in. The Hideaway offers good value, traditional cypriot food - try the giant pork chops - they seem to be a favourite on tripadvisor reviews!
The Captain's Bay is in the prime location overlooking Pissouri beach. They serve food and drink all day, whether you want snacks or a full meal. Early evening it is the ideal spot to have drinks while you watch the sun set. The menu is extensive covering all local specialities, and of course, fish. There is a safe play area where younger children can play to burn off some energy in the shade.
